WRX value
Hi all
I need to sell my '01 WRX and, because of the finance agreement, it seems easiest to sell it back to the dealer. Anyone have an informed idea of what ball park figure they would offer. Been on various valuation sites and they all give wildly different results. The car is a green 01 wrx, full subaru history, 46000 miles.
Any one in the know who can help?
Thanks

The problem is I have only owned it for 10 months so haven't paid enough to just hand it back.
Anyone else have any experience/idea of what I could expect?
Thanks for the replies so far

A dealer will be bidding sub £10k sorry matey
You have to be careful handing back a car on the 50% rule, as you can end up getting black marks against you as the agreement isn't completed.

If you bought it from a dealer 10 months ago and are looking to hand it back, be prepared for a bit of a shock.
He would have sold it to you at retail and will now look to be buying it back slightly under trade as you will not be buying anything else from him.
You could be left with a fair bit of negative equity in the car if the loan was over 3 or more years.

Unfortuantely you pessimistic s*ds were right!! couldn't even find a dealer interested in it. Spoke to one and if they did want would only offer £9k!! Said they had too much stock and prices were failing due to the extra discounts IM are giving them on '04 stock.
Thanks for the advice, anyone want a nice green 01 WRX??

Would have thought you'd be lucky to get £9k IMHO. Mate has an immaculate WRX for sale with 15k miles, new tyres and not a stone chip in sight; he was offered £9k. (It is a Euro import though, but it looks and drives like new.)

Seems we are talking trade offering £9k, which means about £10 - £11 on the forecourt for an EU import, maybe £1k more for a UK, sounds about right to me.
