Talking Happy newbie

finally got hold of my first subaru, 98 Sport (at uni an only 20, hence no turbo) got a pretty good deal i reckon at 3250 with110,000 on the clock +cat1, sony 10disc+6x9s, new tyres+alloys, new clutch an a 6mth warranty. well pleased with the car, just fitted a pipercross ind. kit and the throttle response has improved drastically. makes a big change from my 1.25 fiesta. few questions: what should i play with next, bear in mind at uni so only got £100-£150. not interested in cosmetics. plus i get a knocking sound from the rear of the car when braking an movin off, local dealer reckons its loose boot lid but wont touch it without chargin for labour, any suggestions?
also, what is the expected 0-60 on one o these? pre ind kit had it timed at 8.97

I had a magnex cat back on my old sport sounded great. As regards the knocking sound i had that under breaking occasionally but only at very slow speeds. Had it looked at twice under warranty but couldn't find the prob.

hooray a fellow scooby-driving student! Sounds like you've got quite a nice audio setup in there, have you upgraded the front door speakers at all or do you want to spend the cash upgrading the exhaust? I take it the car is gonna be where most of your student loan is going too?
