ALLIANCE MALTESE 2005 STI IMPORT
2005 STI WITH 3 YRS WARRANTY - OTR INC 1YRS ROAD TAX LESS THAN £21K
Anyone with legal experience wish to pursue the inability to have PPP included on Euro Imports under 'restrictive trading laws' & similar?

There are no legal implications, other countries havnt approved the PPP so fitting it will invalidate any warranty, its an approved accessory for the UK market, just as the STi panel filter is for the JDM market, fitting one of these to your car if its not a JDM car will also invalidate your warranty....
Plus they probably havnt told you that you will need a tracking system and an alarm fitting to the car as it wont have one.... plus you may find variations in model specs across europe, ie like no A-DCCD etc.
In the end, it works out slightly more expensive but a uk car is a better deal.

A good tracker, fully paid up can cost you between 500 and 1k, a good alarm will set you back 500 quid, ok thats only 22.5k, and if your missing out on the A-DCCD thats 23.5k, so yes, 2.5k difference, then try to sell the car on if it doesnt have the A-DCCD
Plus you also have to register the car with IM.....
It can be more hassle than its worth when you add all those hidden costs in.... and you could loose out on resale value also.....
