Dealers are selling them for between 28,995 and 29,995 ... you won't get one cheaper than that from a dealer that's for sure!!! Privately I have seen one for 28,495 with low mileage

i know one exdemo for £27,000,they will devalue as soon as the "all singing all dancing " 05 model comes out with the only difference being the more aggressive map and colour as with a bit of mild negotiation you could get ppp,18" wheels and springs thown in

Quick search on the Subaru website listed 12 WR1s. Ignoring the 40K one that we all know about, prices ranged from £33995 for one with delivery milage (65 miles) to £27995 for the one at Cheam Motors. Incidently, there are higher mileage examples for more than the one in Cheam, which would suggest there is room for negotiation on price (as there always is).

And the list ain't conclusive. One of the dealers phoned me to say they had 2 available. One a demo, one delivery miles and both aren't mentioned on there site or the subaru site. Am tempted though

- All things are relative. As Smurf says, the WR1 is (was) a special edition to celebrate Petter winning the WRC. Prices will be firmer than a normal STI for that matter. In my opinion, I did think that the WR1 was over priced for what I wanted. Saying that though - when you consider the price of the P1 when it came out - it was more than the WR1! It will be interesting to see in a years time how the prices have settled down.
Incidently, Cheam Motors will do you a brand new 04 Type UK STI for £22595 according to their website.

I had a look over at Quedgeley earlier this week, and apart from a superb looking white STi (confirming my belief that it's the best colour) there was also what looked like a WR1 still on gold wheels. Maybe there are still a few around then?
