Default You Ready for winter yet??

mines almost done, todays activitys saw me under a 4 post ramp with a big can of waxoyl and a spray gun

floor is still as mint as they day it ccame off the production line, except its got a nice coating of extra protection now

costs about £10 to do it yourself if you have the spray gun and hose etc etc

WORTH DOING

just need' sum new wiper blades for the front and an alloy wheel swapping session when tthe going gets really nasty

get your winter prep done and you can concentrate on getting the christmas presants in lol

First sign of salt on the roads and mine is going into storage. Could be a long wait before she comes out to play again though

Ray Li - take out the ABS fuse to disable the ABS.

Contrary to popular belief, the Scoob is SHYTE in the snow. To get better brakes, disable the ABS

ABS on snow, in every car I have driven, sucks hard.

What to keep in mind is that the person driving behind you is also using ABS in all likelyhood so watch out for them running into you.

Yep, I've got a garage. The old girl will only come out when it is dry, and there is no dirty salt on the road!

I drive my sti in all weathers, just be gentle with the brakes and the ABS won't cut in.
Just a thought. If someone stacked a car in the snow with the abs fuse removed big time and the insurance inspector noticed this, would that person still be fully comp insured. Me thinks the insurance man would say no go.
