At least he was honest with you, if they are to busy - they are to busy simple as that really. Would you rather him of took your car in and not looked at it because they didnt have time then he would have been wasting your time too. Wonder how the customers that were due to collect their cars that day would have reacted when he tried to explain that he had left their car because they have been trying to diagnose a squeek on a car that wasnt even booked in.

I obverved at least 2 of the "part fitters" outside having a ***, so couldn't be that busy!!

So what happens if your on route and you have a problem then??? I know my local dealer Tileys will bend over backwards to slot people in that arrive off the streets. I once phoned them at 8 am and was told to come straight in. As soon as I arrived the car was in and on the ramps. I was driving out again, within the hour, and guess what...... No charge

I used to use Holdcroft Lexus (when I had my Lex, obviously) and they were fantastic, never had a problem with them. They even used to let me use their LS430 as a courtesy car

I think the word ' Lexus ' may have something to do with that Rev ! My bro in law doesn't have to get out of his chair to service his car, they drive over and pick it up leaving a courtesy car, then drive back once done !
Also the warrenty's are amazing, he had small chips appear on two wheels, they replaced all 4 FOC no quibble
mind you the car is 45k
