If that is really 345bhp at the wheels then it certainly is a beast, a g-force conversion is not cheap and they are guaranteed big power, the price seems high but buying a new then spending all that cash to get it that kind of power would make no sense

Its a Wagon too, which I assume he's changed virtually all the drivetrain to do 345 ATW.

Very stealthy, I'm sure theres been a few requests for a T25 wagon - this is pretty much it!

Since when did unofficial modifications actually add value to a 2nd-hand car?

I expect the G-Force conversion isn't cheap, but as a buyer I wouldn't expect to pay for it - fitted new by a Dealer yes, but not as a 2nd owner.

Some of these mods cost £15K dont they? I remember reading about them in EVO.
I have a feeling if you spent £15K on engine mods 5,000 miles ago you would have every right to think you might get some of the value back. Even if you didnt manage it you would certainly have a go at it, I know I would.

Problem is that it is wasted money as it was the wrong base spec. What's the point getting a UK car then blowing the warranty on the mods, better to have saved a few thousand and got a euro import STi or even better a Spec C which with a remap and exhaust is good for 330bhp and would be quicker due to being so light.

To be hoped he's put the STi 6 speed in there because the WRX will not hold that type of power for long

G-Force 400 BHP conversion ATF is circa £10K iirc

From the pictures it looks like the latest APS DR500 front mount intercooler and an APS SR40 turbo, no doubt it will be running GEMS ECU as well

He would be better to put it back to standard and sell all the bits and get at least 50% of the parts prices back just like I did with my STi 8

400bhp can be had for 4k

if you think that price is high look at the rs's, standard k reg escorts with 70k miles are going for up to 18k!!!

total madness!

Go Julian Go !!

Keep yer eye on all the For Sale - Parts forums on here, Group buy forum too, and EBay.

Jonny probably PM'd you with what your silver super shed needs to do 300, 350, even 400 bhp ... each level needs major changes and supporting mods...

Sort the next meet and we can talk ... if you get saving!

PS working on the garage day/meet!

PPS - I got your corner mate!

No worries mate, if you buy the bits I'll help you fit them.

Jonny helped me once or twice with advice!

What power / torque are you after?

erm.... it's 25k, not 28...

So it's about the same price as a new STI with PPP and it's got more power....

What's the problem here? Remind me...

Not sure any of it was right at first. I mean how can u write
"The car has covered 5,000 careful miles from new."

then

"goes like the wind and holds the road like glue and makes wonderful sound once on the open road!!!"

And from what i can remember my dyno test didnt sound that careful.

Thats not as bad as the guy trying to sell a 93 WRX on Cliosport.net for £9000 just because it has 19's and a facelift front. For nine grand I'd be looking at STi's, ta very much.
