Question

I own a 1994 WRX Sti - a few mods - HKS Induction kit - HKS exhaust, etc

However, it has a decal on the doors - "S-Tech" - I can find no reference to this anywhere!

Does anyone know what this means?

Blimey H, you need to relax a bit, most people don't even check the board until they get back from work, or have a look at work, so posting at 5.22 you won't get a lot of immediate response.
If you can't learn a bit of patience please do what you said you were doing in your 3rd post and go.

No offence and I don't wnat to jump on the bandwagon here, but I have Tein springs (they are the nuts, if you have them on your car your a lucky man) I could have put you out of you misery, but to be quite honest after your posts, I thought 'why should I'.

I won't go on about you being a however surely you must try realise how your posts are going to be percieved.

One of the many reasons I chose to post a lot less on this board.

You asked your question at probably the quietest time of the day - between people leaving work and getting home, which is probably why nobody answered your question in the first hour, so to start mouthing off within 1 hour shows no understanding of how the board works.

I think you probably offended so many people with your comments that they are now rather disinclined to anser your questions - we are not here just to serve you!

Cool

My WRX Sti appears to have been pretty well modded - I need to get it spec checked at some point as the obvious things I can spot:

HKS Inductions kit
HKS Exhaust
S-Tech Springs (well Know I now!)

The dump valve doesn't sound standard
and I recon it's chipped

I know that it is very fast

need to find a decent place in the North West - DP Motorsports are leading the pack at present!

H, look at it this way, you made a perfectly acceptable post enquiring about some bits on you car. An hour later because you haven't yet got a reply (not surprising given the time of day) you tell us we are all know nothings, and with an angry icon as well.
Thats a bit insulting from someone we have never heard of before.
5 mins later you get in a huff and tell us you are going.
Have a look at the profiles of the people who replied to my fun topic about you, John is one of the most knowledgable people on the board and Harj has done a load of work to his WRX, both are great sources of info, personally I know a few of the people in the Scooby world and can often point someone in the right direction.
Your reply to the guy asking about spares for his WRX was helpful and the sort of attitude we like.
I would have emailed this to you rather than make it public, but you have hidden your email address, something you'll note that most people do not, luckily for us we don't get spam from this board.

Cool

The reason I hide my email is that I work for a major IT company and utilise a commercial account and 8meg pipe during the day - however, I obviously have to be carefull what emails I recieve

There are plenty of knowledable people around, but until yesterday no one has been able to clarify the S-tech thing - RansJ is the only guy I know that was able to solve the question

the reason that I disapeared last night wasn't a huff, I just have things to do
