my car is due in soon (sept) from holland and i have some questions
1- Warrenty do i have to register it- if so with who?
2- manuals, hopefully they will be in english if not what do i do?
3- Warrenty is there any one who will sell me an extended one?
4- If its hard staying with/ getting away from a bm 328 should i

Greg, you're a nasty man .
1 - Yep, with International Motors (see the ImportingImprezas file area for instructions, or just send details to IM)
2 - Depends on your Dutch dealer. You may get an English one. If not, see your local dealer who will either sell you one or give you one. If they don't, they should do
3 - Yes, but they're not worth it is the general concensus.
4 - They're fun to play with, and the Impreza will trounce em on certain roads once worn in a bit. Give it 3000 miles min!
In all seriousness, it does appear that the first year's warranty isn't as good as what the UK provide. Brake discs and, rather more worryingly, clutches seem to be not covered. If the clutch went on mine, I would certainly be making more than enough stink with Subaru NL to ensure it was done under warranty...
