Cool

Got my first Scooby yesterday. Whats all the fuss about

I was grinning all the way down the M1. Even hitting the traffic on the M25 at 5.30pm couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

I just love the "Bright" button!!! What a great idea.

Can't wait to run her in now.

Oh, God! Wait till you get the "clutch judder when cold", "squealing brakes", "cracking brake discs", "hunting around when cold", "crap paintwork problems", "which wax do I use", "what oil", "should I reset the ECU", "is SUL worth it".

I assume you have an MY00 std UK motah.

Whining (of the diffs) aside, you'll never look back. Unless you're reversing!

Welcome aboard! See you at Northern Meet 4 24th September.

BarryK,

The car is a UK spec car sourced from Holland. 555 blue mica, lovely

I actually live in West Sussex so I doubt I'll get to see you at any Northern meets unless I'm in the area.

I bought the car from Auto Tecnica in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, (Thanks to Steve ***...top bloke.) hence the excursion up north.

I know this is a bit rude, but I'm looking to import one myself, I don't suppose you'd be willing to share a few more details (eg how much did it cost !, how long did you have to wait !, was it an all inclusive service, any probs ?)

Thanks in advance

Gary

Tony,

I've not got the handbook yet although Bell and Colvill said they would be happy to supply it. I'll probably pick one up at the first service. They are also happy to service the car for me too

Gatwick Subaru is my closest dealer so I might try them as well although I can't find their details on the Subaru UK website.

David,

Why didn't you get a handbook from Auto Tecnica when you picked up the car? Did Steve *** give a reason?, as I'm sure they have said they come with English handbooks.
