Red face AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!! Changing my name to Sheepsplitter

I bumped into my cousin the other day and, as it does , the conversation quickly got onto cars. He's currently fancying a change but doesn't know what he wants and as he had never been in Scoob I offered to take him for a blast.
I picked him up today and we proceeded to make some pleasant progress up into the Yorkshire Dales on a beautiful sunny day . Just after leaving Grassington, past Debbies Dyke towards Pately Bridge we rounded a slight bend over a blind crest to be greeted by three sheep out for a wander I planted my foot on the anchors but it was clear we were never gonna stop but at the last second I noticed the sheep begin to split, 2 going right, 1 left so I aimed for the gap and hoped. How the Hell I missed any of them is beyond me, it must have been a matter of millimetres (no exageration) and I had to pull over to remove my heart from my mouth and whilst stopped, I called the Police non-emergency line to inform them of the wayward animals (it wasn't open moorland).
Needless to say my passenger was impressed with the handling and manoevreability of the Scoob in extreme circumstances, as well as the rest of the trip. So much so he might shelve his current plans of buying an old Lotus Esprite in favour of one (if his girlfriend will let him )

CB, still shaking and going outside to look for wool on the corners

Thumbs up

Well if your cousin ends up buying a scoob it will make it worth while. Just goes to show the scoob will react when you need it.....

I only read this thread because I thought it was some sexualy depraved one, I thought sheep splitting was sheep worrying by a really well hung man.

Now I realise it is in the same sense as one man and his dog (even more worrying you may say)

I posted a simlar incident the other day

Proceeding down the a33 - dual carriageway, national speed limit at a reasonable speed at around midnight.

All of a sudden I see a sheep running towards me down the inside lane. I have to say the high speed change of direction was excellent. I didn't even go near the middle pedal

Cool

bahhhhh

we were happily grazing today when some chav in an impreza nearly wiped out half the family....

it makes me so angry when these teeny test pilots try to scare us...

dont they read that higway code thingy,,,, (it tastes nice by the way)

i remember on pg 9 it says be aware of animals in the road,!!!!

what does they want us to do, stand on every corner witha set of flags,, or have our coats dyed red and walk in single file bleating!!!!

next time we,ll have im out the car and give him some justice,, new zealand style!!!
