Fishtailing
Perhaps some of you guys can illuminate me on a recent "moment" in my STi.
I was taking a 90 degree corner a little too fast and came off the throttle a wee bit and the the back end did an S type of movement. Is this because I took the foot off the throttle somewhat or that I was taking it too fast? I am still trying to get used to the STi.....

lift off oversteer you lift off weight transfers forward giving less grip at rear & hence the oversteer bit. It is a delicate line between too much & not enough right foot action, slightly easier with 4WD even if type R to the rear stylee as you can power out of slide a bit easier (in theory) than RWD i should know my RX7 is in the final rebuild stages after i did said too much lift off hello crash barrier thing i was more lucky 360ying the scoob lol
