Do I still need Knocklink/Lambdalink with SECS?
I’ve just fitted a SECS monitor to my MY99 PPP Turbo and am about to get a decat downpipe fitted.
Although the SECS monitor can display the outputs of the OE knock and lambda sensors as seen by the ECU, it is not possible (as far as I can tell) to set alarms for these sensors.
I’m assuming, therefore, that it would be sensible to also fit a knocklink and lambdalink since these will give a clear warning of any issues.
Any views?
Cheers

Knocklink definitely still required.
Lambdalink is optional, as SECS can display the lambda voltage IIRC. Still, it's probably more bother than it's worth to remove the lambdalink...
