Default Bad missing, spluttering no power, please help on the job now

I have just drove my sti 7 import up the motorway and there seems to be no power, in 5th and 6th gear especially, no acceleration whatsoever, the car is shuddering on idle, the exhaust note has gone alot louder and pops every so often. Does the sti7 have a seperate coil pack for each plug, could it be this whats the easiest way to check the plugs as i cant even see them. please reply quickly as im at the job now, cheers

Check the hose from the boost solenoid hasn't popped off.

There is a little T-piece just behind the water header tank. If that hose comes off, the car won't boost, idle goes lumpy and loads of black smoke from exhaust where it overfuels madly.

Had a similar problem myself today.
Under hard acceleration changed up, massive bang and I thought the worst Turbo gone.
Car was like it was on 2 cylinders and when I pulled in the laybye it cut out and wouldn't start.
When it did start it was hellish lumpy and noisy, popped the bonnet, gave it a rev and it turned out the dump valve had popped off the end of the hose, put it back and tightened it up, no problems.
So maybe check all your boost hoses, everywhere!!
Hope this helps.
