Thumbs up Fastshow 1/4 mile times

Come on then guys....what did you all run today?

I am absolutely chuffed to bits with my first (EVER) run of 13.9 in my 03 UK WRX, as it should not have been that fast i didnt think!!! and i think humbled a number of STIs

Excellent day out though, really did enjoy it!

Neil.

clutch is fine, shagged 4th gear on my last run though.......think the syncro has gone (2nd time since ive had the car....) that gear seems to be very weak compared to the others.

Frenchboy, i think your running after me next week at G-force im interested to see what your PPP runs.

I was there.

Fastest Scoob i saw I think was a 12.9.

Fensports 500+bhp Corolla was doing 11.2s. Well impressive.

But that Jet Car was just awesome!

Well it took me about 120 secs to get to the banking and back to scooby because it was that damn cold there. Good time that, i noticed the classic's were putting in better times today. it was nice to see a black STI classic teach a new M3 a lesson in manners after the M3 had a two car lengh at the start! Well done to that man.

have to ask....how did the M3 get 2 car lengths at the start???

Also i did notice that several M5s were running and they were only hitting the low 14's.....I shall now not fear them

Well as with quite a few Scoobs it "Bogged" down at the start and the M3 had a better takeoff which was a surprise as the FWD and RWD were spinning quite alot, the 1st gear is awesome to see, leaves most things behind. I also saw a 911 there, not sure if Turbo or not but it didn't impress i think the driver needed a bit more aggression.

The 911 was a GT2 (so yes very much a turbo) driven by a young lady apparently who had never driven it before...hence the time.

All good fun though!

Question

I wasn't going to mention that coz thats where the others can light them up to get the heat in to them, not really advisable in the AWD. What sort of techniques were being used? Anyone?
