Default P1 plaque

Went with my friend to look at a salvage P1. (Damage down passenger side and rear quarter.

Should there not be a plaque infront of the gear stick?? I was hoping to get the id number so I could ask the history on here.

The number plates weren't on, and we weren't allowed to lift the bonnet because it hasn't been cleared yet.

I think the number is on the VIN plate under the bonnet!

Andy

no m8, no plaque in the car. If you look under the bonnet, on the left hand wing there is a 2nd plate there with the number on it

cheers simon

some p1 owners have replaced their plaque in front of their gear stick with a plaque including their build number id, including me, but its an extra so not all will have this!

This one had no plaque at all.

Thanks, will just have to wait for it to be cleared!
