I have a 1996 Impreza WRX STi
I have been trying to find what number STi I have.....I have been told that there is a plaque on the pink end of the strut.....The only plaques i have are:
- As you look into the engine bay, to the right of the strut brace
there is a plaque in Japanese with the colour codes, model
codes, etc.
- As you look into the engine bay, directly in front of you there
is a pink STI plaque with Japanese writing on.
Do you know where would I find what number I have?
Thanks

check the modelcode- on the VIN plate- it will start with GC8. then check the code on the SIDC website (www.sidc.co.uk) in the FAQ section.
hope this helps,

Tim, if you are going to nick other peoples hard work off their web sites, it would be better if you edited it first.
