I got some of that Zymol Wax from Halford`s and that gets scratches out. In fact I did all the car and it got all the swirl marks out.

Just a question what`s you lower bumper like and doors, have you got small stone chips appearing??

forest172 noticed about 20 small chips in said places in the last two weeks but most roads in the peak district are the sprayed tar and chippings type which have come loose due to frost and snow ploughs even at low speeds all you can hear is the stones under the car, not to mention the ones from oncoming traffic! and we pay money for this sh*t!

Chris,

I've looked at your site, and your work looks great.
I'm in Leeds, but work in Ruislip once a month, what sort of time will it take to remove a couple of dents?

Use Swissol cleaner fluid
Standard strength should get rid of small scratches but there is also medium & strond depending on the depth of the scratch !
Then you will need to re wax the area

The car has done 12K since may 2003 (last year)

The car also has the SWRT blue mud flaps. there are no small or large stone chips in the body work, apart from the one near the fron fog light! the mud flaps seam to be doing there job.

Providing the scratch is in the laquer, bit of 1500 grit wet and dry over the area wet to save you some work and then finsih off with an abrasive polish / t-cut then give a buff up with a fine polish after

Thanks,
There's 1 on the filler lid & 1 on the top of the boot.
I'm not sure when I'm near you next, but I'll let you know.
