Question Buzzing noise ?????

I was out for a run in the Dales today, and when I parked up and switched off the engine (after letting it cool for a minute or so) there was a buzzing noise from the bulkhead in the passenger footwell. It sounded like a small motor stuttering occasionally and fully disappearing when I pressed the brake pedal. It did this for about 2 minutes, and started again if I restarted and stopped the engine.

I was only a few miles from a dealers, so popped in and got them to have a look, but of course, it didn't happen while I was there and it hasn't happened again all day. The dealership mechanic thought it could be the ABS relay vibrating the brake pipes, but it was at the wrong side. The only thing in that area is the aircon/heater and I hadn't been using the A/C.

Any ideas guys?????
