Does anyone know if the bonnet scoops on the MY03 WRX and STi are interchangeable.

Why would you want to do that? The whole point of the bigger scoop was to create more BHP by more airflow to the intercooler.

The plan is for a FMIC, so wouldn't need such a huge scoop.

could change the whole bonnet I suppose if they're not interchangeable scoops ?

Scoops are interchangeable bonnets are the same.

Does that mean I could get more BHP (and even more alarming bonnet lift) by fitting an STI scoop to my WRX?

A bigger scoop was fitted to the STI as they have a larger intercooler when compared to the WRX!
