Question

Hello all,
I have an STI8PPP and would like a bit more growl. I have found a afterburner decatted downpipe for sale for £140. The seller says that it improved performance and sound but "a brass restrictor (approx £3)" is required to prevent overboost?

Any comments much appriciated.
Happy new year,
Mart.

Exclamation

Mart,
Probably hard for peeps here to give you an answer

forgive me a little Bit of reasoning why if you have MY03STiUK with PPP the whole piont of a UK car with PPP is Warranty if the £3 brass restrictor doesn't prevent overboost and you motor blows up you will face a £4-5K bill for engine for a little more growl

you may be better to post this in the Technical Engine section and get advice from some Peeps like Grease Monkey etc to Pro's an con's of this mod.

Tony

Personaly i'd advice agaist it
