I would imagine the 300ZX will win. 0-60 in 5.5 and I would imagine the 0-100 times would be quite a bit quicker than your scoob.

I don't think you'll get thrashed, but beaten all the same.

I'd say very close between high 13secs and low 14secs for both.

U may win if it was a import scoob due to lighter weight and slightly more power.

I didn't think a 208bhp scooby could run high 13's? thats a fast 1/4 time!

For the first 30 to 40 meters you will probibly be in front, due to having AWD, but once the 300zx gets traction he will be passing you about half way down the strip. I ran my MY00 at a 1/4 mile day at Elvington earlier this year, and was running 14.2s to 14.4s. I have since had it PPP'd decatted and a ITG filter put in, it now putting out 264bhp and on my last 1/4 day was running mid 13s. So the answer to your question is the 300zx will win if you are in standard trim. Christ I car'nt half waffle.

See ya Paul.

Agree - you're toast once he hooks full traction and momentum carries him onward ... say above 70mph ....... you'll be going backwards!

yeah i managed a 14.5 with a pretty standard UK scoob power wise although that was with an AP clutch ie plenty of grippy revs although i did bodge 3rd gear but yeah guess you'd get beat although never discount the driver factor if it's a 1 off lol

i have been in one of these, tt with the targa top, and they shift and i think they are extremely under estimated. i think if your car is standard you will not creamed but I doubt you will win.

At Pod not so long back, the standard 300 ZX averaged mid-13's on the 1/4, your scoob in that trim will average mid-high 14's.
An STi running around 300BHP will kick it's @rse!!
I know

I was trying to be conservative. These times are acheivable with a decent driver who isn't worried about repair bills.
