Question

I am thinking about changing the black plastic sill covers on my WRX as i am not keen on the look.Is it possible to fit the sill covers from the STI.Has anyone done this on the 03 model if so where can i purchase the sill covers from and any pics of the finished job .

got my sti sills from dealer £225! (that hurt).

Look good though

dOES THAT INCLUDE PAINTING,ARE THEY EASY TO FIT AND ANY CHANCE OF POSTING SOME PICS?

I've got the stainless steel sill plates on my 03 WRX (part E1010FE015 I think!). They just say Impreza not STI.

They look absolutely fantastic if you ask me.

I'm not sure about what everyone thinks of putting the STI ones on a WRX though?

I mean the actual sill covers ,side skirts or what ever they actually are called.My wrx has the plain black plastic the WRXSTI has the colour coded shaped "side skirt" thanks anyway.

I know what you mean, those black plastic lumps do look a bit out of place, £225 is a lot of cash though.

Might get it done in a year or so when I can afford it!

MartX are the items you got for £225 the black sill covers( which may all so be known as side skirts or side spoilers) or the stainless plate that covers the top of the sill to protect it from being trodden on when getting in and out of the car.

my side sills cost me about 65 quid when i bought the car new.....ask your dealer they might be able to sort you out. They look so much better than the black though

get your existing side skirts colour coded they will look superb and will save you a fortune

them stainless steel entry guards do they come as a set of 4,(e1010fe001)this is the part number in the accessory brochure but it doesn't say whether you get the rears,could you please let me know the cost of them?
