And I don't just mean from sinking the happy pedal to the floor either...
Having just got my first scooby on Tuesday, I saw my first other scooby today (in fact 2 of them). Was pleasantly surprised to see the commaradarie between owners, big smile and a wave. Not had that with any other car since I had the beetle!!

have fun then! lots of happy scobby'ing to come...
on the first day i got mine... going the long way to work (as you do)...
got a wave from another scoob... another bugeye too
waved back but thought WTF...
know bikers do it... and VW camper vans!
scoobs are getting too common now so the waving thing is not as common as in the olden days...
see a couple of blue STI's on the way to work most days and always give a wave!

Got my first one on Monday of this week (new Blue WRX 4 door), and got my first flash & wave within a few hours. Since then had a mixture of being ignored and some flashes. I'm happy as a pig in poo and happy to wave at all and sundry!

Well looks like it is just us newbies then - the Old Farts seem to be taking things for granted , maybe ought to give 'em a Reliant Robin for a few days!

Drove my MY99 for 3 years (60k miles) and smiled 
most of that, now with the 22b its grins mixed with shock at how fast it goes 
and manic laughter
Don't seem to get as many waves with the 22b as I got with the MY99
