just got prodrive lowering springs and prodrive geometry done,now back of car feels very twitchy going over potholes ,bumps etc but feels fine out of town at higher speeds-anyone got any ideas
mechanic had never done one before but at low speeds felt back was twitchy and did not want to do a high speed run
on the dealers laser geometry-
rear total toe mv -0.40 av +0.14

ps hitting bump stops more now-ie cd jumping over certain roads

Apparently, Prodrives geometry settings benefit from an additional "fettle" for our Scottish roads....

They recommend -1.25° for front camber, but this can make the car pretty twitchy according to my local specialist. In light of this, mine was set to -1.00° IIRC on the front and it doesn't miss a beat.

hitting bump stops more now
Did they actually fit the Prodrive bumpstops? (shorter and stiffer)

are u hearing any knocking?

the springs may not have been fit correctly in the ridge

they did fit the prodrive bump stops
front feels fine the back just feels loose-it only knocks when going over holes etc
wife was in back of car and thinks the back does not feel stable!

I've had mine fitted for a month now and feels ok although I didn't change the geometry.

Have noticed a knocking from therear nearside though...might get the dealer to look at it.

had the springs fitted for a week to settle ? the suspension before using prodrive settings so i will probably change geometry back

that will be the new x2 wrx-the plate must have been on at least 3-5 demonstrators and ian sells the car and keeps the plate
