I've just returned to Scooby ownership after almost 2 years, having picked up a 3 year old 5dr this evening.
Just a couple of questions.
Should there be a load cover of some kind?
Should the rear screen heater and rear fog lamp switches illuminate?
Cheers,
Martin.

Presumably a classic wagon Mate? Not sure, but on the bugeye, both the HRW and fog switches have tell-tales. And yes, there should be a 'roller blind' type load cover.

If it's a classic both the fogs should be back lit as well as the indicator bar/light. Not sure about HRW, MY98 not back lit, but IIRC from discussions with the dealer, MY99 onwards HRW and hazards are also back lit.

My MY94 has a warning light for the heated rear window on the bottom of the dash rather than the switch itself being illuminated. The rear fog switch has a tiny light in the switch.

Thanks,
I should have been a bit more specific, it's a MY00, and it's whether the switches are backlit when the headlights are on that I'm trying to clear up. All the switches have tell-tales that work okay.
Cheers,
Martin.
