I've had the STI 8 PPP for 6 weeks now, and after returning from my Optimax agent I've realised that this has been my "worst" tank of fuel yet....

Light came on at 158 miles done....

Filled up at 165....

Took 50 litres exactly, so MPG =




















15 MPG!!!!!!!!!

<mental note to self>
Must try to avoid aiming for shift light in every gear!



Still, it was a fun 165 miles!

I acheived 16mpg for my first ever tank of fuel! Leveling out now at 20-23.

Can't complain - its worth every penny!

I managed 11mpg in my MY98 UK on a trackday at Three Sisters, near Wigan. It's basically all curves and hairpins, so constant high revs in 2nd and 3rd.

my01 first tank got me 15mpg, i took it to the dealer to put it on computer, he came out and said, im afraid its a case of lead foot sir, the car is fine lol

I usually get:

160 Miles on 51 Litres (11.23 Gallons)

So 14.24 mpg

I live out in the sticks and its all twists and crests, love every minute of my overpolluting, tyre scrubbing, brake fading, exhaust glowing drive home.

Mate has a Skyline with circa 550bhp and gets about 6 when on the track. Luckily he has a fuel card. Jealous - me, never ;-)
