just got back from a back road blast from watford came back through some back roads, & the scoob was positively loving the dense foggy watery spray type pea soup in the air! never mind a lovely hot summers track day i think they should do more foggy track days my turbo was loving it gulping it up mmmmmmmm and now for the science........ the turbo loves it because?

moisture in the air helps give a better cooling effect (i.e IC spray or water injection.

I took both subwoofers out of the scoob at the weekend as they weigh a ton! cold frosty morning +FMIC and lots of fog = OH my god!! don't think the subs are going back in!!!

lol about the too many backs only just read it again oops.
long live foggy weather then, maybe they should devise some sort of fog machine that mounts to the bonnet & feeds the turbo with moist air or is that how water spray on the intercooler works mmmm?

Totally agree here too - drove up to Birmingham last night and she flew - very responsive indeed Very cold air and damp - PERFECT !

Does feel noticably faster in the fog, only problem is you can't see where you're going

LOL

Charge temp is the biggest improvement, i have seen 1 degrees C after the intercooler charge temp in thick fog!
