About a week after a BRD Tek3, my clutch decided that Bob has given the car far to much power and decided to start slipping, mostly in 4th gear Since then, it's bega doing it in third and now and again in 5th.
My car went in for it'd 52.5k service today, where i asked them to confirm my suspisions. Can you imagine how suprised i was when they said there is nowt wrong with it in their oppinion
Anyway, i thought bo11ocks to it and drove home. Any clutch slip? - Nope It bites as hard as you like. I have done 30-40 mile since, and still no slip WTF?
Is there really a God?

Ok this is bugging me now
The clutch is now seemingly spot on I even managed to accidentally wheel spin it out of a junction
Does anybody have any technical reason as to why my clutch has suddenly recovered?

I got diesel all over my clutch whilst changing a fuel filter.(Pug 306).

It slipped for ages, about three weeks, but then burnt off. Its been fine ever since 30 thousand miles later.

not really sure brun.....its a bit gutting spending money on someone taking it to bits and finding its ok....then again it bugged me when i was trying to accelerate and it was slipping sometimes.....try it when the cars warm....but not really hot and see if it slips then....thats when mine did. .....warm that is
