Slowboy - think you hit the nail on the head, they all about 3yrs old now....

 

Just cus the warranty is running out doesn't mean thats the issue. I changed my P1 cus my bro got a STi RA V LTD for a lot less money and is the same as the P1 but much faster on acceleration. Plus it has alot more goodies, downside is it doesn't have ABS....If you mod it the warranty is void in some cases.

I'm not knocking the P1 cus its a nice car, sometimes I wish I hadn't of sold her...she was a 2nd princess, 1st being my little daughter

P2 yep that rumour went round about 2 years ago and was suppose to be a legacy based motor.

 

I've heard from a very reliable source its called a P2.5 being a 2.5 litre mota

Not that I want to start some rubbish internet rumour that wont be true - but I am sure that I read in the side bar of Evo mag the other week that Prodrive are putting a P2 together.

I think it would be a good thing - after all - the spec C and S202 are import only and make most of the official Subarus look very silly. The import only Sti was the reason for the original P1 was it not? (Not sure - but thats what my local dealer told me)

I may have to try and get a P1 if they are all been sold off!
