does anyone know if you can sue the council for stonechip damage.i went out the other night on re-surfaced road and looked at my car yesterday and its covered in stonechips.surely with the road tax we pay we have a right to decent roads.

in some circumstances yes, but they might say something like stonechips is wear and tear.

depends on what they have surfaced the road with if it's chipping's no chance if due to neglect of cleaning of a properly dressed road might have a slim chance but highly unlikely
