I'm thinking of buying a Scoob but it's got those horrible black trolly strips down the doors.
Has anyone tried to remove these ugly looking things? If so with what and is it easy?
I'm a bit concerned as I know how easily the panels dent and would rather leave them on if it is going to wreck it.
Any advice would be great.
Cheers

My last two never had them and never aquired any dents, probably because I'm very picky as to where I park!
They're on a Silver car so they stand out a mile, if it were a darker colour I wouldn't mind.

if you REALLY want rid of em rip em off slowly and buy yourself a( cant remember it's name at the moment). it fit's onto a drill. it's a small piece of of siver metal, like a drill bit, but with a rubber disc all the way round the circumference of the drill bit. gently take the side of the rubber to what is left of the double sided tape while dabbing plenty of t-cut on to the tape. don't just keep to one area as it heats up fairly fast. and it will take it's time to clean it all properly off and it can make a bit of a mess, but if you really want rid of it all, that's how to do it right. should be able to get the tool in any hardware store. hope this helps

The strip will peel off really easily without damaging anything as long as it is nice and hot - ideally you should have done this before the heatwave finished but heating with a hairdrier is pretty effective. Once nice and warm just start at one end and slowly peel off. It won't leave much sticky stuff on the car but any residues will shift easily if you wipe over with a bit of WD40 on a rag. Then wash off the WD40 residues and give it a polish/wax over with whaterver you normally use and it will be perfect
