Faster than your wallet

Got my car back again today, lightened my wallet of £667 for 3 hours diagnostics an air flow meter and an oil and filter change,
got warned that they could hear some detonation so i am now planning to use octane booster, also the usual its a subaru so even though you service it and pay for anything which is even half broken and it only has 30,000 miles it will blow up soon and the crankshaft is noisey and and and and....
anyone know how much and how often and which is best octane booster and where to get it???
does take the fun out of driving sometimes

Scooby Regular
Oil and filter change = £90
MAF sensor (not complete housing - not necessary) £67
3 hours labour with or without diagnostics = 3x£50 = £150
= £360.72 inc. VAT
Would have a quiet word with them prior to selling the bill
