S, my brothers just got one of these things (urg!) Paid top dollar for and old shape (the best of the ugliest). He thinks it's the business.
He seems to think that his Jap-crap (sorry I'm biased) will beat my Carlton GSI3000 24v. OK it will through the single track lanes but them a new mini cooper will beat about anything throught these lanes.
Can you guy's here let him know the truth. I'd hate him to blow-up his yellow-man machine trying.

sounds a good price mate..just do a good check on history etc
if its any help I just paid (last week) £14500 for a UK "Y" 2001 bugeye with 16k on the clock has a few extras (headlight conv , splash guards, Forge VTA D/V ,magnex and all colour coded but no real serious mods.. condition is immaculate though

It's got him wound up anyway. I don't think my mum would be too pleased loosing both her sons racing each other.
I keep winding him up that he only brought it 'cos at 34 he's having his mid-life crisis early!!!!!!!!!

Nothing wrong with a mid life crisis at 34, that's when mine started and i went out and brought a scooby as well, kids love, wife's a moaner though, but what the heck i don't care....
