Erm this might seem a little like a bad idea but mycroft has done a lot of investigating on this very subject and might be a person to ask. Also i found that the cheaper the octane was , nearly 100% of the time , was reflected in the quality with pinking becoming aparent on some types.
I still swear by Millers , this was not the most expensive or not the most raved about but i got the best results for what i wanted from this brand. The only confusing factor was the variation in price....some shops seem to sell it for £7,99 , others at £3.99??
Also on GTR forum there was someone who often buys in bulk so get yourself part of a group buy would be my advice,
hope this helps,

Jas

Scoobymania do millers for 2.20 a bottle or 22.20 for 10 (excluding p&p).

Yes it is worth buying, the bottle states that it boosts octane rating of petrol by up to 2 or more octane points.

10 octane 'points' = 1 [one] 'octane'... the BS for fuels allows each star rating to vary by more on the forecourt...

no its not actualy worth buying , unless you only want 0.2 of a ron boost

if your running a jap car and want sumthing close to 100 ron fuel u would have to add 20 bottles of millers to a tank of optimax to get the 100 ron (there abouts) iirc it says on the back of the millers bottle to not add more then 2 bottles per car or sumthing?

now tell me that 1 bottle of millers is worth sticking in your tank
i bought a case of millers when i 1st got mine, on the advice of people on this board, what a joke!

silkolene pro boost raises a tank by 2 full ron per can, nf raises a tank by 6 full ron

2 ron to unleaded, bout 1.5 to optimax for Proboost.

Millers makes under 2 Ron for NUL, and less than 1 on optimax.

Toulene is good @ 12% to sul....but on a full tank @ 60 litres itsa a lot of toluene, its about 50-60p a litre, and its VERY bad for yer health.

12% gives about 2.1 RON on SUL
