Just used the Samurai Kit for the first time this weekend and I am very pleased with the results.
My question is, once you have waxed it the first time, what is the next step in terms of the next wash.
Do I
a) Just use the car bath shampoo in the kit
b) As above and wax again
c) Redo all the steps from the original kit instructions
d) Use a completely different shampoo (not sure if car bath strips the wax)
Just want to save myself some time on the next wash if I don't need to repeat the steps again as it took me over two hours.

I did mine for the first time at the weekend. Great results.
I have now noticed that there are a couple of areas that need doing again with the clay bar, which I missed. Can I do these small areas without deep cleaning, and only washing, clay baring and waxing?

Cool! I was going to ask exactly the same question. I spent about 6 hours cleaning the car last Saturday with my new Swissol Samurai kit. Amazing results, well worth the effort.
Regarding the car bath - the booklet specifically states that it doesn't strip the wax off.

Been washing and waxing with Swissol products from day one and no other car in a 1000km radius comes anywhere close to the shine
The way I do mine is to wash and wash+wax alternately - for me it's a weekly thing or fortnightly depending on the weather...if there's some crap on the front and on the wing mirrors after a "spirited" drive thru the country, I'll stop at a local car wash and blast them off with a jet wash and clean water.
When a little speck needs the clay bar treatment, I'll try to leave it to the day I'm gonna wax the car. Use the special Swissol fluid to treat the area, then the clay bar, then rub off with a towel...then wax.
The deep cleanse gets done twice a year...it's a lot of work but by God, it's worth it !
(Heard those dreaded words from the other half today..."I'm starting to get fed up with you and your car"...I'd been out to the jet wash to remove remnants of small animal/bird/blood from the passenger window...then went for a 20 minute drive just to dry the car off )

Now that you have completed the initial cleaner fluid and waxing here is what you do.
Every week wash the car with Car Bath (its detergent free and will NOT strip the wax) Then dry the car. Then as it is now summer, apply some wax to the high impact areas....mirror pods, headlamps, front number plate, front bumper and any driving lamps and the first 6 inches of yer bonnet....takes about 5 mins to do and then buff. Followuing this will stop bug splatter sticking to the car and makes them easy to wash off the following weekend.
Once per month after washing and drying the car...re wax the whole car.
In October go thru the whole process again...wash, dry, cleaner fluid and wax. During the winter months try and wax the whole car evry 3 weeks as this will protect from road salts.
Next spring (Easter 2004) go thru the whole process again and then follow the summer routine there after.

I got my kit from Scoobyworld. They've just dropped their prices - d'oh! (No connection, etc.)
Mark - you mention waxing the headlights. I assume by this you mean the lenses(?). If so, how would the Samurai wax respond to high temps generated by HID lights?
[Edited 'cos I can't spell!]

You know what they say...if you have to ask...
HOWEVER, the truth is that it's expensive to start off with but the value is that you get loads of life from the products so it actually works out cheaper in the long run.
I wouldn't use anything else on my car. Swiss quality speaks for itself and the Anwanders have been in the business for many years, not to mention Mark Underwood's contribution which is substantial.
I did my mother-in-law's Scenic with it and her garage stood back and claimed that nothing in France could shine a car the same way - they were baffled and blinded by the shine. I did her car once (she IS my M-I-L after all) and they still talk about it to this day. I kid you not.
Lay out money for a performance motor - give it a performance shine and to hell with the price ! Also, forget all the pretenders - Zymol, Meguiars etc - good products surely, but doesn't your car *deserve* the best?

I do the "wax the bits the flies hit" with my Swissol wax and it's GREAT.
Just watch those dead flies float off the paint!!
Midlife....
PS I have a MY02 WRX and was advised by Mark that for new cars the "shield" wax with Teflon keeps the showroom type shine.

Cheers Mark! Fantastic product BTW. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I was sceptical until I used it. Funny thing was when I was going over polishing I slipped and nearly fell *** over tit!

Once the car has been prepared, the actual polishing is so easy.
Highly recommended!!!

The actual waxing is the easy part.
Its the Clay Bar and deep cleaner which takes time, but this is a once/twice yearly task, as after you have done this once, the paint can be just cleaned then waxed.

Received my Swissol Onyx Wax and Cleaner Fluid from Mark Underwood last week and the results were outstanding! Cleansing took me a good 2 hours and waxing about 30 mins.
Mark is a top bloke and his advice and service were first class. I sent the cheque and received the products about three days later. Waxing was much easier than i thought, especially using the provided applicator, and it looks as if i will easily get 30 to 40 applications from one 250 ml pot of wax.
Any one thinking about buying swissol products....just do it!
