bloody crows
#1
Got up this morning to the sound of caw, caw ,dink, dink. Looked out of the window & 2 crows were on the car pecking at it.Bstards. Car was covered in mud & **** ,hosed it off & have approx 20 hair line scratches on bonnet, roof & spoiler. Got my air rifle & shot one of the dirty Bstards the other got away but is on borrowed time. Question is I have 03 sti 8 in black which has had the autoglym treatment at the dealer. What is the best way to get rid of the scratches , nervous about using an abrasive compound so any ideas welcome
Thanks

Thre crows probably saw their reflection in your car, and attacked it.
My mate had a brand new Polo attacked on the banks of the Trent about 10 years ago for the same reason, but unfortunately, his was done by a local Gypsy horse!
£450 worth of damage, and the owner wasn't responsible, since the horse got away from where it was tethered!
I know this doesn't help, but at least you know WHY they do it?
Have you thought of leaving it mucky
Covering it?

Had this done a few years ago, company carpark next to some trees where they roost.
After speaking to the RSPCA, I found out that they actually go for the windscreen wiper blades for their nests.
Solution, add a little vinegar to your windscreen wash and they won't bother because of the acid and no it won't tarnish the bodypaint.
Skoosh.
