With the P1 now coming on stream it seems most purchasers are existing Turbo owners. Surely for the next four months we will see a glut of late used Turbos ex part exchange for the P1.
This will force the second hand price down, possibly 800-1000 extra cars available in the showrooms and private adds.
With warranty questions on euro imports and a three warranty on UK cars euro imports will be less attractive.
We have yet to see the P1+/P2/P3 etc.
Personnally i wish IM had only produced 400-500 P1s.

For 400-500 GBP you can have 3 years cover on a Euro Import.

Spoke to my local dealer this weekend and they are more than happy to service my Euro Import when it arrives shortly.

So what's your point?

Phil is correct. Warranty is not a problem and servicing is easy.

As you can get a brand new Scooby Turbo in Holland for £15k, this means there are many cars in the UK second hand that are priced too high. Why do you think other cars lose so much value in the first 6 months!?

Why should I pay say £16k for a 2 year old car when I can get one cheaper brand new - there has never been a better opportunity to buy abroad. The only people who should be getting these cars are Company car drivers as otherwise the price is (as usual) a rip off!
The P1 is different as its a special edition.

Is there going to be an euro P1 available for import ?

I presume the new WRX reported by Autocar will be available for import into the UK when its available late next year ?
