With the P1 now coming on stream it seems most purchasers are existing Turbo owners. Surely for the next four months we will see a glut of late used Turbos ex part exchange for the P1.
This will force the second hand price down, possibly 800-1000 extra cars available in the showrooms and private adds. With warranty questions on euro imports and a three warranty on UK cars euro imports will be less attractive. We have yet to see the P1+/P2/P3 etc. Personnally i wish IM had only produced 400-500 P1s. Comments ! rb |
For 400-500 GBP you can have 3 years cover on a Euro Import.
Spoke to my local dealer this weekend and they are more than happy to service my Euro Import when it arrives shortly. So what's your point? |
Phil is correct. Warranty is not a problem and servicing is easy.
As you can get a brand new Scooby Turbo in Holland for £15k, this means there are many cars in the UK second hand that are priced too high. Why do you think other cars lose so much value in the first 6 months!? Why should I pay say £16k for a 2 year old car when I can get one cheaper brand new - there has never been a better opportunity to buy abroad. The only people who should be getting these cars are Company car drivers as otherwise the price is (as usual) a rip off! The P1 is different as its a special edition. |
Is there going to be an euro P1 available for import ?
I presume the new WRX reported by Autocar will be available for import into the UK when its available late next year ? |
