Scooby Doo and other Ring Tones

I've had the Scooby Doo tune on my Nokia for ages
I did it myself - if you have Nokia Data Suite CD you use the Composer software which is on there (it just doesn't install off the CD by default).
If anyone wants the file to upload to their phone just email me . . .

cool. I'm going to be getting a nokia for my birthday in a few weeks, plus the scoob should be arriving soon as well, thus the phone 'doing the 'doo' would be really cool!

How do you upload a file to your phone?
I have an infra red capable nokia 7110, but no infra red outlet on the pc.
By the way, if anyone is thinking about buying the same phone as me, dont, its absolute pants.
Keeps going wrong etc. 100 memories for numbers great, but the reliablity is utter sh1te.

Well I can send ring tones via SMS from my 9110! If anyone can point me at a website with the scooby ringtone I could download it and forward it via SMS to a couple of others...

Moray, if you do do this, please include me in the list.
You need to have it sent to you at a cost of £4.99, and then forward it. If you have a composer like on the 3210 then you can send it on yourself. I know where you can find instructions on the web for the composer notes. I dont think the nokia communicator/ brick has that facility though.

Hi,
There is a wayto SMS new phone ringers to any Nokia 61x0 phone for free. The method works by editting the number for your SMS message center - some networks don't allow this.
Have a look at this FAQ:

Guys,
Can I suggest we dont publicly publish our mobile numbers, it may lead to unsolicited calls from anyone who reads this! You can still edit them out and we will work out who will send the tones out, and that person can be emailed all the numbers privately.

I currently have one of the crappy old 5110's - anyone know if it's possible to do anything with these?
Adam, what's wrong with the 7110 then? I was about to get one, but I'd like to know what's wrong (I heard that I should wait, as the first batch - they stopped production for quite a while, hence the waiting lists - had many bugs, which Nokia have not told people about).
Thanks,
greg
