POP...The back right one I think. garage said it's not uncommon on high mileage cars. Mine had 76k on it in 2.5 years. Gutted, I was driving it back to the lease company as well!!!!!

Should this be covered by the warranty or maintenance agreement. The car was only just serviced 2 weeks ago?!?

First I heard a whizzing noice on accelaration, next a metalic pop, closely followed by very rough but still driveable and very sluggish travel. Also kept cutting out. Does this sound like a shot piston to you?

If it's a UK car on a standard warranty then I'm afraid it's no longer covered as standard warranty was 3y/60k miles
