Tell me about it! I'm bored of waiting already!
My only regret is that I should have done this six months ago instead of getting the ST24, which I'm gonna get peanuts for. Pity, as it is a great car and I *do* love it to bits, but I need an estate type car and the WRX Wagon is estate like and a scooby and fast and..... (I could go on, and on, and on...)
Anyway, looks like a hire car might be a good bet, especially as I can get it cheaper if I do it on my insurance! But I might not do that as it might cause me problems if I trash the hire car.

Markus,
Just a tip.
Save as much as you can for petrol over the next few weeks, cause belive me your gonna' need it mate!!
Oh, and don't worry about the girlfriend,as you will be out of her hair forever once the car arrives.
And don't ask Paul.G about trashing hire cars - HA!
Happy waiting!

Small knowing to medium knowing grin at present, turning into full size Grin in five - eight weeks.
Just posted the deposit for my 94 WRX Wagon to the importer, and I'm happy!
Only problem is that I've got to wait 5 - 8 weeks for the fella to appear
I'm gonna drive the girlfriend mad, especially as I'm going to borrow her car as I'll be car-less, unless I get a hire car for the next few weeks.
SIDC cheque will be in post when car arrives!
I'm happy!!

showtime:
well at present the mondy is still in my hands. I'm seeing the dealer tonight so I'm expecting a taking down of the trousers to take place.
The interesting thing is that they have given me a higher figure this week than they did last week! most odd!
I know I'm gonna lose out on the money front, I'm resigned to that now
Unless I get an 11th hour offer, which I seriously doubt, but one never knows. Cannot belive that I would have lost over 5k in six months. My saxo VTS was 12k and I sold it a year and a half later for 8k, though I could have got 9 as I think the dealer had someone in mind for it. Very glad I did not buy the Rover 620ti I was thinking about! mate who works for Rover dealership just sold a T reg 620ti with 1000 miles on the clock for 10k!!! the list price is aprox 20!!!
When I get an offical price from the dealer I'll let you know. Just don't laff to hard!

dealer offered 9.8k for it! which is better than the 9.7k they offered last week, go figure!
Depreciation is bad these days. There's another thread on the BBS from someone selling a imported UK spec MY99C reg, and the dealer wanted to give him 12k for it when he got it for 18k. So that's a loss of 6k in six months!
