Alright guys. I was wondering how many of you had de-catted your scoobs and if you've had any issues with mots and that??

Full decat and 99% certain to fail an MOT

Downpipe cat only you will pass, well mine did as it only has a DP cat as standard.

It has to be done i reckon. Can't have power being sapped can we? Is it a ballache swappin them over? Surely you can find some rough place that does mots and will overlook it? I'm saving for a new age wrx and I want the loudest, biggest exhaust you can get. Obviously if i get a 1 year old 'un I don't have to worry for 2 years.Just wondered really what you guys had done about it.

Mosizlak

I live just outside Liverpool, Whiston to be precise.

The owner of the garage is a very old friend of my future mother-in-law.

We were down there on Saturday putting another car through the MOT and I explained that my Scoob was up in February and I have no CATS on.

He said not to worry cause he'd sort it for me

I'm reluctant to give out his details though, when I am next down there I'll ask if he's interested in testing a few more decatted scoobs.

you should edit your post and take off his details as I'm sure he won't want them being posted on the net like that!!! Email them to interested parties
