HELP - advice required

Bought my scoob in April from a dealer. I've come to make a warranty claim only to find out that the 1 year manufacturers warranty hasnt been registered with Subaru UK.
Original dealer say they did it and have quoted me some number as proof. Another helpful dealer has checked this number out with Subaru UK and it means nothing.
I'm gettin no help from the selling dealer - promises of phonecalls but nothing and salesman avoidin my calls, no-one else interested. What can I do ?!
