Sheesh - it was all a bit spit and string was'nt it......Jon Felstead would be having kittens......

Always fancied a Chesil Speedster - sent off for the info once....

Nice to see how he kept hacking huge chunks out of the GRP - both front and back - torsional rigidity anyone......NAH! Who need's it...

I've heard that Subaru engines fit reasonably easily into VW campers, anyone have details?

Cool

I have seen this car , Rich has made a very good job of doing the conversion . It is the loudest scoob engine I have ever heard
The car started life as a beetle , there is conversion kit to fit the scoob engine to the veedub gearbox , I believe it comes from the USA.

On his path, not a four posted ramp in sight. What a guy!

I'm sure I read a few years back a copy of Cars and Car Conversions which had an article about Skoda's in it, there was a guy with a scooby lump in the back of his skoda, two wheel drive if I remember rightly, but it did have a turbo

Hello again, Ron!

Really? I'd love to create such a car. I know of Mazda RX-7 conversions. The RX-7 ****el engine is mighty small compared to most. Doesn't sound like a scoob motor though...

Nice one. Not sure I'd want to drive it in the wet though..

And is the intercooler doing anything tucked up behind the seats there. I can't see it getting enough air through.
