do Scoobynet organise trackdays?

if not why not?
or naybe it happens, but i've not seen it,dunno.
18000 members across a wide variety of marques and the poor guys from SIDC are getting some stick,so why doesn't this BBS do some?
would have thought it quite easy to get 50/70 cars from in here several times a year.

Scoobynet don't, but thats not stoping anyone using the BBS to organise one. I'm sure Simon is to busy to organise one, but if you want to have a go why not email him with your ideas?

The whole idea of organising track days can be a nightmare.
Because the SIDC has always filled that gap, we have never thought of the need.
If anybody has ideas or resources, we are always contactable to bounce ideas/or discuss involvement:
Simon... simon@scoobynet.co.uk or myself
Shaun... shaun@scoobynet.co.uk
If there was a specific event(s) that could be arranged, and the interest was high enough we would always seriously look in to it.
Who knows what the next 12 months could bring. The possibilities are endless, but the involvemnt required by individuals has always been a major factor. There are 101 things I would like to kick start for next year as regards to community events, it's just finding the time to achieve them.
Regards,
Shaun.

I will endevour to organise another "SCOOBYNET ROLLING ROAD DAY" next year, as the previous two that I organised over the last couple of years, have always been very well turned out (and the magazine articles have been fun).
Of course ScoobynetPlus members, will have a discount on the fee!!
Regards,
Shaun.

I'm sure Simon is,and i would be happy to offer my services,my skills will stretch as far as making tea and perhaps even being a bouncer for the portaloos, but my time is available if enough people want to make a go of it.But i would have thought it would need the site owners to pull it together,to get the relevant affiliation, indemnity, committees and that stuff going.I would be happy to help, but have no experience at all,but as i said,i am willing and er,able (ish!)

Track Day Organiser
Whilst not wanting to hijack this thread
especially if Scoobynet want to look at track days in the future
DBA if your willing to help organise things I'm very certain the SIDC would be grateful for your time even if its a training ground for a movement to Scoobynets Track events
