Cool!
Gonna be nice and quiet then!
How many cars did you get in the end?
Does the extra driver and spectator money get paid to the SIDC or Palmer motorsport?

As we are paying Bedford on a per car basis all they need is 35 cars we have made up that number so we can close the shop.
The club will not be making any profit on this event so we will keep the event small less complications.

I have to say, closing the shop at 3pm makes no sense to me whatsoever. Surely Bedford would be pissed off with you doing this after they changed their policy to make it more financially viable for you. If i was bedford i would be livid by this decision.

Because of this event we have lost our SIDC motorsports person.
If you are not happy with this decision then maybe you should ask me to resign as I am getting fed up with the same old complaints.
I'm only curious - it clearly doesn't bother/affect me as I'm not going to be taking the X-Type out on a track day! Forget I asked....

Why was the booking closed out of interest?
Does it not occur to you that other drivers on the day may welcome other cars, even if YOU don't?
Have you gone from not only not being able to organise a pi55 up in a brewery, to having track days booked on your terms only?
For gods sake.
And it's not fair to blame the resignation of a comittee member on a poster, when it is purely SIDCs doing.
Antiquated, blinkered, not in the real world springs to mind.
Don't tell me, I'm banned from Bedford lol

Does seem strange to close it
Sure, we only need 35 cars to make it work. But if the original plan was for 50 then there's another 15 places that could be available. I guess that would mean a small profit for the club, which could be plumbed into future events or something?
