Apologies To Everyone Whom I came Across On My Way Home Tonight

Drove like an ar$ehole - sorry
Dunno why exactly - could make excuses - but this evening was not me driving I wanted out - I wanted HOME - I wanted there soon. For some reason, I was overtly agressive in wanting to get home tonight - I don't know why Dunno if I got home quicker or not, but from Bow to past Stansted I was hustling - then as the traffic lightened - I slowed down back to normal
I don't believe I was being particularly dangerous to other road users (self-preservation ) but I was driving agressively trying to get people out of my way by my positioning and how I came up behind them
Not proud - sorry

Nice of you to admit it, Puff.
Although I must say your 'get home ASAP' driving is of a much higher standard than most peoples 'best behavour' driving. That's the worrying thing. Most people think they are good drivers, when in fact it's the complete opposite.
We all have lapses, and times when we feel justified in hustling. It takes real maturity to say, yep did I it and I don't feel real proud about it.

Other road usere probably just thought that you were a sales rep
Seriously I think recent events have made a lot of us want to be closer to/spend more time with our nearest and dearest.

OOerr, You are my conscience speaking!!
My wife rebukes me when I tell her of the numpties flashing me at least once a week for perfectly normal manoeuvres, they just take fright about something they are incapable of doing.
But sometimes, oh dear, I actually wound the window down and apologised to one bloke for being an **** at a roundabout.
And you weren't that slow moving load on the M62 westbound at rush hour going home yesterday were you, that really annoyed everybody. Especially those stationary coming out of Leeds when it was nearly at Oldham!!!

Puff - Big of you to admit it and please do not take the following personally.
Still doesn't excuse driving like that though ( what ever has happened this week - Very Lame excuse ).
Imagine if you had put up a story about another person driving like that I dare say the responses would have been different.
I have seen enough of those sorts of threads here.
Double standards - surely not.
