Thumbs up

(Here goes for my first ever pic-posting attempt....)

A month or so ago we visited Estoril racetrack to see the Le Mans series, and got talking to the guys running the support cars - for obvious reasons....

...and they made a 12-yr-old VERY happy with a savage white knuckle ride in this one!

Anyone interested, pop down to Estoril, say you have a Scoob, and you could be in for a smiley time!

Talking

Danny, I did! Travelling slightly sideways around the track, even on less than full throttle (had just started drizzling and there were five of us in the MY00), was still a giggle. And I rather hope to go back there at some point to repeat the experience!

The chap involved (orange jumpsuit, top photo) says he is a member of SIDC and will be writing something for True Grip soon about how Estoril use only Scoob support cars; their fire cars are Foresters. What I liked most was the fact that the cars are, apart from being decatted, totally unmodded.. and that he said they had successfully claimed 3 sets of brake discs under warranty, which is only one year here anyway!
