My Rover 216GSi is quite a fast car. It handles like sh*t but in a straight line, it's not bad. I've done 96k miles in it, it's done 116k in total, and it cost me 6k 6 years ago.. I can't complain can I?

Oh my god... more Rover owners.. Hurrah.. Some people may now, my global domination plan is to get a Scooby I may keep the Rover as a 2nd car for the dear wife to drive once she's got her licence. She only has an international one atm. To be honest, apart from the handling. It really isn't a bad car. The engine, really is a stormer for a 1.6 16v imo, but then, I know sh*t about cars really.

Right, to carry on the moan then.... People look with contempt at work, when I talk about the car, git's... in their polos and, er, Boxters... damn... foiled...

Hiya Foot_Tapper. Luckily mine has PS. It's all very well having the Honda engine, but the rest is falling apart around it this year... New radiator, cambelt, complete distributer, new manifold... but... I still can't believe it passed the MOT yesterday. I guess my point is, that so many people frown on the car, even myself sometimes (well, a lot these days), but, well, apart from this last year, 6 years of reliable motoring for 6 grand. Front line speed it at least holds itself with standard xr2i's, golfs, hondas and the like.

Right.. What to moan about now... hmmmm...
